La'Vonnda Haynes-Burnett
Founder & CEO
La'Vonnda started Zion Learning in 2016 with the vision that students, who are normally overlooked in academia, would receive the valuable academic support they deserved. With a background in education management, she grew Zion Learning to the national organization it is today. Her entrepreneurial pursuits have led her to also become a web designer and published author of the children's book Zola, Peace President. Following her degrees from UC Davis and Saint Mary's College of California, La'Vonnda is currently in school studying to receive a doctoral degree in education with a focus on the qualitative study of organizational leadership.

Taryn Emerson
Social Media Manager
Taryn a Michigan native, is currently in her final year as a student of Michigan State University. She will be receiving her bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Science. Taryn has an eye for fashion and style, and it carries over in her work to create eye catching posts for Zion Learning's social media platforms.
